Hartwell Huddleston - – Risk Management Specialist

Hartwell grew up on the family farm, which has been in the family for more than 130 years. He received a BS from Mississippi State University in Ag Engineering and returned to the family farm. Personal farm experience is what led him to crop insurance. Understanding how farmers think and knowing what they need for their operation is what makes Hartwell stand out from other agents. He is the “been there, done that” farmer/agent and can sincerely help you understand the intricacies of crop insurance. Hartwell is a member of the Farm Bureau, SWCD, Delta Conservation Demonstration Center, Delta Council, Rice Council, PAC, CIPA, Kings Daughters Circle Number II (hospital board), and school board member. In addition to being an Elder at the Leland Presbyterian Church, he also chairs of the Stewardship and Personnel committees. His motto is “Get up early, get your work done, and be responsible” and he uses that every day to stay motivated. When not working on the farm or office, Hartwell enjoys hunting (is a member of two hunting clubs), fishing, and just enjoying nature. He also likes to spend time with his family and dog, Itsy Bitsy, and attend college games. His secret talent is… a pastry chef. Let Hartwell’s solid foundation of experience work for you.
